Fire safety regulations require employers to put systems in place for evacuating disabled employees from the upper floors of a building.

The Evacuation Chair course is valid for 3 years and teaches delegates the theory behind moving a casualty into the ‘Casualty Evacuation Chair’ from: sitting on the floor, lying on the floor, from a wheelchair and from standing. The knowledge learnt on this course is tested through a series of practical exercises and mentored sessions.
