The community partnership between HFR Solutions (HFR) and Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University continues to grow following a busy October of fundraising, educational experiences and community activities.
From supporting the Children’s University’s 30th Annual Ball, which raised an incredible £47,000, to welcoming another group of enthusiastic children to HFR’s headquarters for a special Experience Day, the partnership continues to make a positive difference across the region.
Supporting Opportunities for Young People
Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University works in partnership with schools to inspire children, develop a love of learning and provide opportunities to experience activities beyond the classroom.
Through its programmes, the charity encourages and celebrates participation in extracurricular activities, helping children from different backgrounds discover new interests, develop confidence and broaden their horizons.
HFR Solutions is proud to be one of the organisation’s community partners.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), HFR operates with a commitment to delivering wider community benefits alongside its commercial activities.
The work HFR delivers across emergency response, specialist training and safety services helps support its community objectives, including partnerships with organisations such as Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University.
Learning About Safety Through Experience
One of the highlights of the partnership is the opportunity for children to visit HFR’s headquarters and take part in its Experience Days.
These visits introduce young people to fire safety and workplace safety in an engaging, practical environment.
The sessions combine valuable learning with activities that the children thoroughly enjoy, helping them develop a greater awareness of safety while creating memorable experiences outside the classroom.
HFR was delighted to welcome another group during October, continuing a relationship that brings together education, community engagement and practical learning.
Celebrating the 30th Annual Ball
HFR was also pleased to attend Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University’s 30th Annual Ball, which raised an impressive £47,000 to support the charity’s work.
The event provided an opportunity to celebrate the organisation’s achievements and the commitment of the businesses, supporters and partners helping to create opportunities for children across Hull and East Yorkshire.
HFR is proud to play a part in supporting that work and looks forward to continuing the partnership.
A Partnership That Continues to Grow
Jenni Drinkall, Managing Director of HFR Solutions, said:
“The Children’s University is one of our biggest community partners. We love the work they do and our partnership continues to go from strength to strength.
The impact they have on the lives of so many children is incredibly significant. The groups love the Experience Days at our headquarters. They have a lot of fun and learn so much about safety at the same time!
We were also privileged to be part of the Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University’s Annual Ball, and we are so happy to be able to contribute to the massive total they raised.”
For HFR Solutions, supporting the community is an important part of what the organisation stands for.
Its partnership with Hull & East Yorkshire Children’s University demonstrates how businesses can make a meaningful contribution beyond their day-to-day commercial activities.
HFR looks forward to continuing its involvement and helping create more opportunities for young people across the region.
